Kara hails from the big town of Otis, Kansas…of a whole 300 people! She is a senior and will be returning in the fall to graduate May 2013 with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Christian Ministries with a concentration in Youth Ministry. Going to Thailand will be her first time to go out of the country (other than Canada, but that doesn’t count). This experience will also be the first time she will see the ocean. She is excited to see what God has in store for her and her teammates while in Thailand. She hopes you enjoy reading about their experience as they are experiencing it. P.S. She not-so-secretly hopes to see an elephant while in Thailand, but she understands it is not very likely.
